Here’s a simple recipe for Cornstarch and Condensed Milk Cookies:

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup cornstarch
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
A pinch of salt
Instructions For Cornstarch and Condensed Milk Cookies:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sweetened condensed milk until smooth and well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
The dough might be a bit sticky, so refrigerate it for about 30 minutes to make it easier to handle.
Once the dough has chilled, take small portions and roll them into balls. You can also use a cookie scoop for uniform sizes.
Place the cookie balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie.
If you like, you can use a fork to flatten each cookie slightly and create a crisscross pattern on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are just beginning to turn golden.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
